The President of the Ecowas commission, Dr. Omar Alieu Tourey holding a press conference today in Abuja about the Niger political crisis. Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, who is also chairman of ECOWAS, plans to send a second group of Islamic clerics to Niger this weekend to mediate the crisis.
