Tonight, it is emerging that the Ministry of education and the management of the Hillside Endarasha Academy had for years throughout the existence of the school ignored some key provisions in the safety standards for schools in Kenya. A visit by NTV to the school at a time when activities have died down there have revealed a shocking state of affairs where part of the school is not fenced and as such a stranger could walk into the compound, right into the classes or dormitories and walk out, without any security check. This even as DCI officers recorded statements from Teachers and other non-teaching staff of the school throughout Friday.
