Public universities are rushing against time to issue new admission letters to tens of thousands of students, in the wake of an order by president William Ruto last week.
Among them are some 125,000 students waiting in patient hope, for government support, to pursue higher education, through the new university funding model. But a myriad of questions still linger on the criteria used by the Ministry of education, to classify students based on need.
