The office of the Migori County Woman Representative, in collaboration with the Turkish government, has established a factory to manufacture reusable sanitary towels in the region.The production of these sanitary products is set to enhance menstrual health and improve accessibility for teenage girls and young women from disadvantaged backgrounds.The factory will also help supplement the government's supply of sanitary towels to public primary schools, which has decreased over the past two years.
