Familia moja katika mtaa wa Mirera mjini Naivasha kaunti ya Nakuru inadai haki kuhusiana na mauaji ya binti wao wa miaka-15 kwa jina Valeria Njeri miaka mitano iliyopita. Babake michana huyo, John Ndunu amesema amefadhaishwa na kuchelewa kwa mchakato wa kupata hali. John amesema kuwa mnamo mwezi Novemba mwaka-2019, familia hiyo ilipigwa na butwaa ilipogundua mwili wa binti wao uliokuwa umelowa damu kutokana na majeraha ya visu nyumbani kwao mtaani Mirera. Kwa mujibu wa John, kosa la binti yake ni kukataa posa la mshukiwa wa mauaji hayo. Mshukiwa huyo ambaye ni mvulana wa umri wa miaka-16 alikamatwa na baadaye akaachiliwa huru. John alidokeza hayo wakati wa ibada ya ukumbusho wa binti yao iliyofanyika nyumbani kwao Nakuru.
