    Families of those who died in the Shakahola tragedy have begun burying their loved ones.Among them is a family from Butere in Kakamega County, which lost six members in the incident. George Keye Okaka received the bodies of his wife and three children after months of waiting. Okaka says his wife joined Paul Makenzi’s sect in 2019, hoping to find spiritual guidance, but instead, it led to tragedy. He is still waiting for the identification of his two remaining children. Sixteen bodies have been released to families as the identification and burial process continues.
