A family from Mtondia Kilifi County is in dire need of 4 million shillings to enable their teenage son undergo a life-saving kidney transplant in India. 18-year-old Emmanuel Chakaya a form four student was forced to cut short his education owing to the kidney complication that has left him bed ridden and in pain. Our reporter Opicho Chemtai brings us details of his battle with a congenital kidney problem diagnosed in 2019 that has since led to multiple complications of his ureters, bladder, and urethra.
