Six classrooms and offices from Katama primary school in Mumoni, Kitui county have been swept away by strong winds accompanied by heavy downpours.
Amongst the classes destroyed are the new grade 9 class room currently constructed by the National government through the ministry of education.
The destruction has left the parents and teachers devastated as the pupils have been forced to share classrooms.
The end of term exams were paralyzed following the destruction
The school fraternity is pleading with well-wishers, both county and national government to step in and help restore learning operations in the school.
