Former independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati has passed away. His family says they are yet to establish the cause of death. Speaking to the press outside lee funeral home, family spokesperson Eric Wafula stated that the family will hold a meeting on friday evening to discuss key matters, including whether to conduct a postmortem to determine the cause of death. The family spokesperson added that they have yet to consult with doctors and will do so in due course.Wafula further revealed that Chebukati had been unwell and passed away shortly after 11:00 p.m. __
