The Senate Lands, Environment and National Resources Committee has urged the Ministry of Lands to prioritize the settlement of squatters in the Coast region. The Committee led by Mombasa Senator Mohamed Faki held meetings at the Kenya School of Government in Mombasa County and heard petitions from tenants-at-will and squatters who sought to have their status regularized by the state.
