The government plans to compensate victims of banditry attacks and those severely affected by drought in 16 counties in the country.Baringo North Member of Parliament Joseph Makilap says beneficiaries will be identified in counties hardest hit particularly farmers who lost their livelihoods in Turkana and Baringo among other counties. Makilap who met residents of Bartum in his constituency reiterated the government’s commitment to enhance security and restore peace in the affected regions
