Mathematics will be administered as a compulsory subject in senior secondary schools in the country starting next year.. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba has confirmed that following consensus among education stakeholders, the Ministry of Education has rescinded an earlier decision making the subject an elective for learners transitioning to senior secondary school.
