The State Department of Agriculture and the pest control products board are on the spot for allowing over 200 pesticide products in the market despite being banned in other developed countries. Agriculture Principal Secretary Kiprono Rono and pest control products board Managing Director Fredrick Muchiri were on the spot before the national assembly committee on implementation for failing to implement a house resolution directing the ban of the harmful pesticide linked to fueling cancer. While the MPs insist the harmful chemicals are causing cancer, the pest control products board maintained no harmful chemicals are in the market.
