The government has been urged to enhance the integration of Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematic subjects in schools for children with disabilities particularly the deaf children to ensure inclusivity in the education sector. The Kenya Society for Deaf Children chairman Francis Ng’ang’a say children with hearing impairment have often been overlooked in the advancement of education in the country which threatens their ability to compete fairly in the STEM related fields.
