The National government has released Shs 1.75 billion to clear salaries and allowances for the doctors and intern doctors OVER A week after health workers called off their strike. Public health Principal secretary Mary Muthoni confirms that the money paid is part of Shs 3.5 billion which has been accrued since 2016. The balance is expected to be paid within the next two years.
