Clinical officers in Baringo County have downed their tools in protest of what they claim as unfavorable working conditions. Health services have beenadversely affected at the 148 health facilities across the county following the start of the strike on 7th February. Led by their chairman Francis Chelobei, the clinical officers decried shortage of staff and lack of promotions as key concerns. The striking clinicians have vowed not to return to work until their demands are met.
