Rainbow for Africa organization has donated ultrasound machines to matayos sub county hospital to curb neonatal and maternal deaths. this brings a sigh of relief for hundreds of expectant mother and unborn babies in Busia county. speaking after receiving the ultrasound machines, Busia deputy governor Arthur Odera, mentioned that the machine will aid in early detection in cases of pregnancy complications. Susan Okumu a nurse at the Matayos sub county hospital has also urged expectant mothers to have regular checkups to ensure delivery safety. Similar donations of ultrasound machines have been made in Samia and Budalangi.
