Every ten minutes, a patient requires blood but most of them encounter the reality of the insufficiency of blood supply that barely meats the demand. Kenyans have therefore been urged to embrace blood donation to help bridge the blood supply shortage gap experienced in a majority of healthcare facilities. While making the calls, Laboratory technologist Robert Indieka who spoke in Busia county called on residents to enlist in their numbers in the ongoing blood donation exercise in the county. This even as he urged locals to ignore negative perceptions on blood donations.
