Hundreds of Kenyans converged on the Kabete National Polytechnic today, hoping to secure a spot among the 10,000 employment opportunities in Qatar announced by the government.
According to Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua, the jobs are as a result of a partnership between Kenya and a Qatar-based company.
However, as Samirah Mohamed reports, many applicants have raised concerns about the recruitment process, citing issues of transparency and gender inequality.
