A former Commissioner of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission and Board member of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority, IPOA, Fatuma Mohamed has told the IEBC selection panel that she will involve the media and back their quest for parallel vote tallying centres to enhance transparency in the 2027 general elections. Also facing the Nelson Makanda-led panel, was former Technical University of Kenya Vice Chancellor Prof. Francis Aduol, who was put on the spot after the Universities Academic Staff Union alleged he was involved in corruption and oppressing staff while serving at the institution.
