A HEALTHY NATION Gideon Ogutu - International Institute For Legislative Affairs (IILA): IILA has been spearheading advocacy for mandatory, evidence-based Front-of-Pack Warning Labels (FOPWL) to curb the consumption of ultra-processed foods linked to Kenya’s rising NCD burden. The project also aims to protect children from aggressive food marketing. A key milestone is the planned launch of the Kenya Nutrient Profile Model (KNPM) by the Ministry of Health next month.
