A section of civil Society Organizations has urged the government to expedite the implementation of Public Benefits Organizations Act to enhance the smooth running of organizations in the country. The organizations under the umbrella of the Civil Society Reference Group, have criticized the recent government’s directive for fresh registration, terming the process as expensive and out of reach for most of them. Speaking in Trans-Nzoia County, the organisation’s chairman David Otieno at the same time rooted for extensive public participation exercise before finalizing the regulations to operationalize the Act in a bid to enhance inclusivity in the process
