Interior Cabinet secretary Kithure Kindiki earlier today chaired the Inter-ministerial Committee on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism at Harambee House. The meeting was called to review Kenya’s Compliance with International Anti Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism standards and to lay strategies for upscaling the war on Money Laundering and Terror. The government is upscaling its vigilance to thwart terror attacks ahead of the festive season.
