Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has taken a swipe at leaders engaging in succession politics urging them to instead focus on pushing the country’s development plan. At the same time he stated the painful decisions taken by the government have since stabilized the Country’s economy citing a decline in food prices such as maize flour. Kindiki was speaking during a public participation exercise on the Medium term plan framework under the vision 2030 program. He called on stakeholders to ensure proper planning as part of plans to become an industrialized middle income country by 2030.
