A section of elders from Garissa county are now calling on the government to fasttrack the issuance of national identity cards to area residents following president William Ruto’s move to sign a decree eliminating vetting requirements.
Speaking to the press, the Kenya livestock marketing council chairman dubat amey said there has been little progress in as far as expediting the issuance of the crucial documents to those who are yet to get it despite the president`s promise during his tour in the north eastern region.
