Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka has condemned the planned demolitions set to take place in Kibra constituency in Nairobi County. Speaking during a tour of Highrise Ward in Kibra constituency on Wednesday in the company of other opposition leaders, Kalonzo called on the government and particularly the Ministry of Lands to respect the court order and follow the laid down procedure that will not disenfranchise the residents. The demolitions are part of the government’s efforts to provide affordable housing.
