A budding journalist, Alvin Kaunda had just landed his dream job at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation KBC. You probably remember him as the elephant reporter after one of his reports went viral across the globe when a baby elephant interrupted his report at an animal orphanage. Away from the public eye Alvin has been battling a rare condition. Adult Onset Still's disease (AOSD) a rare systemic autoimmune condition in which the white blood cells instead of protecting the body attacks it. In this report Marie Yambo spoke to Alvin Kaunda as he shares his experience with this condition that's forced him to slow down on his wildlife expeditions.
