KCB partners with UNITAR plans to sell 100,000 electric bikes
KCB Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) plans to sell 100,000 electric bikes in a year as part of its net zero ambition.
The bank says the plan aimed at transitioning its total loan portfolio to green investments by 2025 will see it advance customers a loan to buy the bikes at 13 percent interest with the repayment period expected to be two years. The E-bikes costs Sh350,000.
