The Kenya National Examination Council has released the 2024 KCSE results which showed a notable improvement in the overall performance of candidates compared to 2023. In the results, a total of 1,693 candidates scored grade A plain an increase of 477 compared to 2023 while 246,391 candidates qualified for direct admission to university after scoring a C+ and above. Additionally, the Ministry OF Education has announced the introduction of a mid-year KCSE national exam to be administered in July to accommodate learners who face challenges in sitting for the annual exam.
