Military officers, family, friends and area leaders have bid farewell to the late Sergeant Rose Nyawira in a somber burial ceremony at her home in Kirinyaga County. Sergeant Nyawira, a photogragher perished along nine others in the Elgeyo Marakwet helicopter crash last Thursday. Kenya Air force Deputy Commander Brigadier Peter Githinji eulogized her as a dedicated, reliable, and hardworking officer. While condoling with the family, Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru said the county hurts for losing two officers in the tragedy.
