The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner has received more than 6000 complaints since its inception, this is according to Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait who says that this reflects an increased awareness and need for data safety. This as the country marks five years since the implementation of the Data Protection Act, geared towards safeguarding personal information in an increasingly digital world.
