5 people are among the latest survivors of the Mai Mahiu flash floods that have so far claimed 48 lives, with scores others still missing. A mother and her four children narrated the horror of surviving the raging waters, by clinging onto furniture after their house was submerged on Monday morning. This comes even as a multi agency team increases its search area to rescue more survivors and comb out bodies suspected to be buried beneath the rubbles. Laura Otieno reports on the agony of families who are now lining up in morgues in order to identify bodies of their kin who met their sudden death on Monday morning.
