Kenyans have been assured that all their contributions to the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) will be transferred to the new Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF). The new health insurance plan was officially launched today by Health Cabinet Secretary Dr Deborah Mulongo. taxpayers have been promised free access to basic health services, with all health centres instructed to serve all Kenyans equally. Kenyans are encouraged to continue registering for this program to benefit from improved healthcare services.
