The government has yet to fulfil its co-financing obligation of over $12 million for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, agreed upon with Gavi, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization. Gavi is gradually phasing out its support to Kenya by 2029, making timely government funding crucial to sustaining vaccination programs.
