The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), has endorsed the proposed tax laws amendments bill saying it will cushion employees from the high cost of living by increasing their disposable income. KEPSA however wants Parliament to review the excise duty proposed on cigarettes and alcohol saying the increment will lead to use of illicit products. Betting companies also opposed amendments that they say will hurt the gaming industry.
