The kenya primary school head teachers association (KEPSHA) has called on the government to increase capitation funding for primary schools from the current 1,450 shillings to 3,000 shillings per student. They also proposed raising the junior secondary school allocation from 15,000 shillings to at least 20,000 shillings per student to support the effective implementation of the new curriculum, which has brought numerous demands on schools.
