Matiang'i Presidential Bid Threat Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni has alleged there are plans by the government to prevent former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i from contesting the presidency in 2027.
Kioni, who spoke in keumbu, kisii central, during a jubilee party delegates meeting, said president William Ruto's allies through the state are plotting to introduce criminal charges against Matiang'i once he declares his 2027 presidential bid.
Kioni vowed the jubilee party will stand with Matiang'i to the end. @ojsamsons
