Residents of Kalama ward in Machakos county are worried lot after indications that Kwakavwiki dam could burst anytime soon.This comes a day after another horrible incident in Mai Mahiu where a tunnel burst leading to deaths of tens of people. Still in Machakos, residents of Mua and Kitanga were forced to stay out in the cold after their houses were swept by heavy floods. This comes even as the interior ministry in a statement says that the number of fatalities due to the heavy downpour has risen to 169.
