The Coast Parliamentary Group (CPG) is calling on the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife to expedite the creation of a grazing corridor in Yakaliche Village, Garsen Constituency to avert human-wildlife conflict in the area. While blaming the Kenya Wildlife Services for the killing of an elder, Issack Jarso Delo, five days ago, the legislators said the lack of grazing corridors often subjects herders to harassment by KWS wardens who confiscate their livestock while trying to access pasture and water in the parks.
