A family is demanding for justice after they were assaulted by the local chiefs on the burial of their loved one who was killed by bandits in Laikipia mid last year. James Mogoi the father of the deceased noted, the confrontation began when he differed with the administrators over the burial grounds for his late son, prompting attacks from the chiefs and members of the public.A Medical examination report from Etago Sub County Hospital indicates that Mogoi was assaulted causing injuries to his left lower limb. A valuer, Duncan Njiri, also conducted a valuation which revealed that property worth Sh.326,400 was destroyed by members of the public after allegedly being incited by the chiefs.
