A section of Isiolo residents has urged the government to place all cancer patients on free treatment courtesy of the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) and establish cancer centers at county level to ease the suffering of the patients and their families. Bulapesa ward MCA David Nyoro says both levels of government should establish cancer centers at county level which will enable all patients access treatment. He said that patients and families are overburdened by the high cost of cancer treatment.
