Lemeck conservancy : Locals protest invasion by private developer

Landowners at Lemek Conservancy in Narok County are protesting the invasion of their land by a private developer. They claim the investor purchased 10 acres of land within a wildlife corridor and elephant breeding grounds, disturbing the ecosystem and driving away wildlife. According to the landowners, despite repeated pleas to relocate, the investor still remains, which has also led to armed confrontations and property damage. They further claimed that the investor is disrupting conservation efforts. Over 300 families depend on the conservancy for survival.
