Kenya is set to sign the Comprehensive Migration and Mobility Partnership Agreement with Germany in September, as part of the government’s plan to export skilled labour especially among the youth. One of the fields Germany looks to fill is construction and engineering. To prepare for such opportunities, a local entrepreneur is leveraging virtual reality to teach Kenyan youth key skills, among them the highly sought after Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding technology.
