Makueni county loses ksh 45 million in one year due to rising theft and vandalism of water projects

The county government of Makueni has incurred losses amounting to KSh 45 million in one year in the wake of increased theft and vandalism of water projects. The vandals usually target solar panels, generators, pipes, air valves, water tanks, and other critical components of water distribution systems that are allegedly sold to available scrap metal dealers.
