Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Principal Secretary Susan Mangèni is calling on African countries to shift towards mobilizing domestic resources for the fight against Malaria. Kenya faces a financial gap of an estimated 33 million shilling in its fight against malaria. Mangèni spoke at the 2025 End Malaria Councils and Funds Chairs dinner which seeks to raise the estimated 6.3 billion dollars needed annually to sustain and expand malaria control efforts in Africa. She noted that Africa Union`s goal to eliminate malaria by 2030 calls for collective efforts of governments, the private sector, civil societies and communities.
