Manyatta Member of Parliament Gitonga Mukunji has dismissed calls by the Senate to scrap the National Government Constituency Development Fund claiming that it has been impactful to the development of many public projects. He urged the senators to focus on oversight of the Counties against excesses that he said were rampant causing huge losses to the taxpayer. Speaking at ACK Kiangima in his Constituency, Mukunji noted that the Gen Zs have pushed the nation to a new dispensation that will sober up discussions and depoliticize the Country. At the same time, he urged leaders to create more engagements with the youths in finding long-lasting solutions.
