Mtengezaji wa filamu wa Israel Shaylee Atary na binti yake mchanga walinusurika katika shambulio hilo baada ya mumewe Yahav Winner kuwazuia watu waliokuwa na bunduki, na kuwaruhusu kutoroka nyumbani kwa familia.
Atary, alimweleza mwandishi wa BBC Arabic Michael Shuval jinsi yeye na mtoto wake Shaya walivyofanikiwa kunusurika katika mauaji ya Kibbutz kwa kujificha kwa saa 27. Atary alipokea habari za kuhuzunisha juu ya kifo cha mume wake muda mfupi baada ya mahojiano haya kurekodiwa.
