Mavueni locals want exercise at the doorstep

Residents of Mavueni in Kilifi County are calling on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to take the voter registration to the grassroots.The locals who spoke when they received coconut palm seedlings say they cannot afford to travel to the town centers to take part in the exercise in preparation for the 2027 general election. They are further calling for the issuance of identification cards to youth in the area to enable them to access government opportunities.
