Men have been encouraged to lead the fight against Sexual and Gender Based Violence as an important aspect of addressing the social injustice against women and children. Speaking at Dandelion Africa Center in Rongai, Nakuru County during a men’s conference organized as a precursor to Valentine's Day, Festus Panyako, a psychological counsellor and a former Public Health Officer said financial wellness, emotional intelligence and mental health could help end SGBV and femicide. According to Panyako, most GBV perpetrators are men and their involvement in the anti-GBV campaigns will play a vital role in ending the vice.
