Stakeholders in the health sector are now calling for the integration of mental health into the Universal Health Coverage to ensure more Kenyans access frequent mental health check-ups. Led by Thalia Psychotherapy organizations' chief operations officer Mercy Mwende, the stakeholders said mental health has often been overlooked in the provision of quality and affordable medication in the country, which limits access to the much needed care for Kenyans. The players spoke during a two day regional health conference in Nairobi.
